Forgentum's development processes focus on a single mantra "shorten the life-cycle of a bug". In the company's view, a "bug" is any uncovered problem, be it a poorly written requirement, insufficient design specification, misallocated resources, or a software problem. In operation this manifests in a SDLC that is self-aware. While we prefer to work in an Agile environement, Forgentum modifies its processes to best fit their clients. Whichever process is implemented, metrics are gathered throughout. Inside these processes, Forgentum places emphasis on early validation and rapid course correction.
Our internal development processes use test driven development and continous integration standards.
Forgentum's expertise crosses the entire development lifecycle. From requirements decomposition, through design, testing and implementation, our engineers overcome the industry's toughest challenges.
Some of the Forgentum development projects are outlined below. Expand the link for more detailed information.

The TBI/BH clinical documentation tool provides an electronic BH note that mirrors the current “shadow file” in BH clinics, group session documentation, Automated Patient Intake, BH alerting, and reporting capabilities.
On this program, Forgentum provided Subject Matter expertise to support all aspects of the SDLC, the Enterprise Integration Engineer, Development Lead, Test Lead, and Information Security Officer.
AHLTA Modernization and Development

The AHLTA Development and Modernization program provides enhanced Electronic Forms (eForms) capabilities for the Military Health Service (MHS). The eForms capabilities include the following:
- providers and patients to edit and save eForms
- import and configure blank eForms for reuse
- import prefilled eForm

The eForms capabilities are provided within the eForm Documentation Tool (EDT) application.
On this project, Forgentum supplied the Lead Backend developer, software build engineer, and integration architect.
